  • Characteristics: The new foliage appears with an eye-catching orange-red tinge that changes to emerald green and then to a dark, lustrous green. Its fragrant flowers that bloom in the spring, have dangling petals that resemble cream-colored, flowing grass skirts. Fruit is Dark blue/blue-purple and edible to birds
