The Port St. Lucie Botanical Gardens
Our purpose is to offer activities and programming for children aged 2-8 and their families, inspiring the next generation’s respect for and understanding of Florida’s plants, pollinators, and other garden wildlife. We are a volunteer-based committee, all donations help cover the cost of activities to continue supporting our mission. Thank you for your contributions.

Activities
Free to all guest of The Garden, we have created seasonal activities for children to take into The Garden.
- Discover Backpacks- Feathered Friends
– Perfect Pollinators - Scavenger Hunts & Coloring Sheets: located next to the welcome desk.
School & Organizations Visits
Pre-registration is required for field trips. Please contact the committee at Education@pslbg.org. Cost may apply.
- Self Tours – We provide scavenger hunts and your group explores The Garden on their own. Available any date with approval.
- Structured Activity Centers – Student workshops created using Florida Education State Standards. Wednesdays only, 2 hour duration between the hours of 9:00 am – 12:00 pm.
Little Library
Our Little Free Libraries are open—let’s fill them with stories!
We’re so excited to bring the magic of reading to life for kids and teens in our community. But we need your help to keep the shelves stocked with great books for young readers, ages 1–17!
Have gently used children’s books you’re ready to pass along? We’d love to give them a new home! Your donation helps spark imagination, curiosity, and a lifelong love of reading.
Simply drop off your books at the Port St. Lucie Botanical Gardens welcome desk, Tuesday through Saturday during open hours. Thank you for helping us grow young minds—one book at a time!
