Endowment Fund

Be a part of the Garden’s Future. The Fund, established in 2019, is dedicated to the long-term sustainability of The Gardens’ operation in perpetuity. Once reaching its required principal amount any investment proceeds are channeled into the annual operating budget when and if needed. The integrity of the Fund is protected by strict IRS regulations which ensure its ongoing viability. A certificate acknowledging your donation will be provided.

Minimum contribution: $1,000

Picnic Table Dedication

What better way to pay tribute to a loved one, commemorate a life milestone, or honor a friend! Our picnic tables are placed in picturesque, shady areas of the garden. A metal plaque inscribed with your personalized message will be placed on the picnic table. Many celebrations and picnics will be enjoyed by all who visit the gardens.

Cost: $2500.

Garden Room Wish List

Our Gardens always have a long wish list, many listed in our monthly newsletter. It could be as little as used garden pots for the Garden Center up to a new building for our growing garden.

Arbor Day Remembrance

A perfect way to create a special remembrance of your friend or loved one. Arbor Day at the gardens is held each year on the 3rd Friday of January to coincide with Florida Arbor Day and is a time for renewal and that can be celebrated year after year. The name you will be honoring will be read at a special dedication at the gardens and is included on our website.

Cost: $30. Per Name

Garden Room Donation

We have over 12 different gardens that are always looking for a little TLC. Donate to your favorite Garden room. Your donation will help with the upkeep, retrofit, new plants, and all types of improvements, for your specific garden. A certificate acknowledging your donation will be provided.

Minimum Donation: $100

Serenity Garden

The Serenity Garden will offer a respite to visitors. This garden room is highlighted by a beautiful, peaceful and soothing fountain. The commemorative bricks create an interesting walkway.

Adopt a Tree

Each year the Gardens designates up to 6 trees within our Gardens that can be adopted to honor your loved one or to create a special memory for a friend or family member. The adopted trees are memorialized with a tree-hugger memorial plaque and engraved with your dedication.

Cost: $500

Faerie Forrest

Faeries are magical and mysterious, bringing out the child in all of us. Some faeries have already found a home swinging in our Garden Oaks. The faeries are designed and constructed by local award-winning artist Greg Hold. You have the opportunity of donating to the Faerie Forrest.

Faerie: $750.00 / Faerie Forrest Builder: Suggested donation: $100

Bench Dedication

A thoughtful way to honor or remember a friend or loved one. The benches that are throughout the garden are in areas designed to enjoy the many scenic views. A metal plaque inscribed with your personal message will be placed on the backrest of an available bench in the garden.

Cost: $850 – Half Bench Cost: $1500 – Full Bench

The Gardens is managed and operated by Friends of the Port St. Lucie Botanical Gardens, Inc., a non-profit 501(c)(3) public charity organization, that was founded to help support the daily operations of The Gardens. Friends volunteers provide hands-on daily oversight of the facility, including staffing to handle the many visitors year round. Please consider becoming a member of Friends. Friends’ is a 100% volunteer organization. In all cases, donations are deductible to the extent allowed by law.
